Weekly Update 28 March 2025

hupsos.com/merch new testament survey, inductive Bible study, prison ministry… This month has gone by so fast, can you believe that it’s the end of March already? This past week I’ve actually spent in class with the SOM students. We we’re studying Inductive Bible Study, which is observation interpretation, and application. They’re picking up well and I’m hoping that it’s something they’re going to be able to use for the rest of their lives. So that they can continue to study the Word.Today we’re also going to talk to them at Friday Fuel about critical thinking. What does that mean? What does it look like? How can we practice that theory? We also spent some time working on some merchandising this week. See that at hupsos.com/merch there’s s bunch of be products being loaded up there for anyone who loves great design and wants to sort the ministry. Thanks Spev for designing some great items. The New Testament Survey class for the men started. I was so happy to see the men there. Lawrence came even, it was great to see him. I’m excited for those guys and what they’re going to learn. Thank you for praying for them and for the teachers. Loyce is teaching the women and Ismail is teaching the men. This Saturday is the care team meeting at 8am Mountain Time. I would love to see you gave and hear your voice and what you’ve been up to. That would be great if you could come. Friday we’re having another round table. We’re going to talk about the difference between religion and spirituality. A lot of people hate organized religion but they consider themselves to be spiritual beings. We’re going to talk about that, what the difference is. We also have a prison outreach on Saturday. We’re going to go play volleyball and chess with the inmates, and show them the love of Christ. Bev had her surgery today and so prayers for her recovery. Ann is back at home with both of her parents. They are at home and they’re both recovering, from surgery and from chemo. Prayers for them and prayers for Ann as she continues to take care of them. That is what is going on here, thank you guys so much for praying and I’ll talk to you again next week. God bless you (mukama akuwe omukisa).
